iPHONE worship happens in Chicago, at Bacino's restaurant!!
Right after this photo was taken (by another iphone!), the assembled all built a golden calf...

I am SICK of hearing about the shortcomings, and how EXPENSIVE the iPhone is:
The truth of the matter is this:
The iphone is CHEAP, for what it is, NOT expensive!! Why?
1. It's a cell phone
2. It's a camera
3. It's a computer, with OSX Mac operating system. (the BEST!)
4. It operates flawlessly, and intuitively, and almost effortlessly!
5. It's the BEST iPOD EVER!!
6. It's a Map maker that equals GPS without the drawbacks!
7. IT's a GREAT PDA!!!
8. It's a MAC! With the Safari browser!!
9. It doesn't run Windows!!
10. the iPHONE is so convenient, and beautiful, and just plain slick to use that you won't want to put it down!!
And so, as you can see, for less than $600.00 (4 GB version), you get a tiny, intuitive computer, that goes online via wifi, wherever you are near one. OH, and I almost forgot: it's also a CELL PHONE, will take pictures (it's a camera, too??), and it plays music, both through headphones, or even it's own (excellent!) built in speakers!
I bought Apple stock (Aapl) at $7...at $35... at $76... AND NOW THE STOCK IS AT $132!!
THE STOCK was supposed to collapse after they "HYPE" of the iphone died down- but, after we all saw that the iphone EXCEEDED the hype, the stock only went HIGHER!!
It's like Sly & the Family Stone- "I want to take you HIGHER!!"
I wouldn't sell short of $150 at this juncture.
But, if I had Blackberry (RIMM) stock , or Palm, or their ilk...
I WOULD be very worried..
I'd probably be checking their stock CONSTANTLY on ...

Hmmmmm.....well, let's think about this. I live in North Dakota. AT&T does not have service in the great state of North Dakota, yeah I know apple isn't at all worried about the 640,000 folks who call the great state of North Dakota home...and isn't at all bothered by the fact that the iphone is not available to us because of the deal made with AT&T. I can live with that.....we are after all the most literate state in the union....and head of Microsoft's business solutions headquarters....we'll manage to limp by without the newest gadget from apple. Still.....when my daughter left for Tennessee and wanted an iphone, I caved. I spent the $599. and gave my sweet darlin the phone of her dreams....soooooooo.....how am I feeling now that the price has dropped $200.? Apple can kiss my bumper....I have purchased the very last apple product I shall ever own. While yoru apple stock story is great.....I have to say....Great Plains Software stock while became Microsoft stock when Great Plains was aquired by Mcsft has done the same thing for my pocket. And hey .......guess what their software works out in North Dakota! Amazing....simply amazing!
